Monica Green was introduced to Zumba® very early in her career, which inspired her to make fitness and health her passion. After dancing just a few classes, she decided to become certified as a Zumba® Instructor in the winter of 2013. Her lifelong love for dance and fitness made Zumba the perfect outlet for Monica giving her
the chance to share her love of dance with others while assisting them on the road to being in great health both mentally and physically. Zumba® is the first thing that Monica has found so much joy in and such great results from. You do not have to be a dancer or even consider yourself coordinated in order to enjoy Zumba®, you just need to come ready to cut loose and have a great time! HOW DOES IT WORK? Zumba Fitness® is a Latin-inspired cardio-dance workout that uses music to form a fitness party atmosphere. While much of the style featured in the program are Latin American inspired, classes can also contain everything from jazz to African beats to hip-hop and pop. She takes the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. In turn, it’s a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.
