What a great week at our Youth Basketball Camp! 🏀

We were thrilled to welcome athletes from grades 2-3, grades 4-6, and junior high for several days of learning, competition, and fun. Campers worked hard on fundamental skills, competed in games and contests, and most importantly, grew their love for the game of basketball.

A huge thank you to our camp sponsors, B&B Carryout and Designs Now, for helping make this camp possible. Your support of our young athletes and community is greatly appreciated!

We are proud of the effort, attitude, and sportsmanship shown by all of our campers. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see these players continue to develop both on and off the court.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and supported our camp. Go Spartans!

High School Boys Basketball speed and strength training will take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00–11:00 AM during the months of June and July.

Junior High players will attend speed and strength training on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00–1:00 PM throughout June and July.

The Spartanville Awards were a great way to wrap up an incredible year! It was a night dedicated to celebrating student-athletes and the dedication, commitment, and hard work they pour into their craft every single day.

We were proud of the recognition of so many of our basketball players, along with the honoring of the entire team for an unforgettable season. The growth, grit, and team-first mentality on display this year made it truly special!

A huge congratulations to Coach Philpot and Coach Cook on being named Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year—well deserved honors that reflect the leadership and passion they bring to our program.

Last night we celebrated the Waynesville Boys Basketball team at our end-of-the-year banquet. It was a great evening recognizing our players for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the program throughout the season.

We also honored five seniors who have left a lasting impact on Spartan basketball. Thank you for your leadership, effort, and the example you set for those who follow. You will always be part of the Spartan family.

While we will miss this senior class, we are excited for what lies ahead and the future of Waynesville basketball. The standard has been set, and the next chapter is ready to begin!
