Although we are pumped, the reality is that life happens!

People have:

injuries, personal commitments, life changes, moves, work challenges… and a variety of obstacles which naturally limit growth.

And that’s ok, and natural!

Cassie “CassKicker” might stand at 5’2 1/2”, but her smaller stature… that has nothing to do with the size of her hits. 😏

Let’s just say, we’re glad she’s on our side!

In these photos she also participated in the A/B skill level at Summer Slam 2026 hosted by CGRD: Cape Girardeau Roller Derby!

Summer Slam is an annual back-to-back tournament where skaters from all across the Midwest (and beyond) come out to test their abilities (and stamina)!

A/B level

Rookie level

This way, no matter where you’re at, you have a chance to test yourself.

This was Cass’ first time deciding to bump up to the A/B skill level in this tournament and really test herself, too. 💪🏼
