After 13 years in the industry let me tell you something you already know, but with maybe a little different outlook on it. What you already know…Nothing built quickly is great. Nothing built quickly lasts.
It is actually pretty easy to take an average person who eats a standard American diet and make them lose 15-20lbs. It doesn’t take much effort on the coaches part and usually can be done within about 6 weeks if we aren’t going to take into account the s**t that actually matters..
- Is it sustainable
- Was the weight lost primarily all fat
- Is their metabolism in a spot to continue losing weight or even maintain for that matter
- Did we improve health markers
Don’t allow yourself to fall into the trap of “ahhh, I have a vacation coming up” and expect to drop all this weight the month before. One, you’re gonna look like a sack of potatoes because quick weight loss is initially just glycogen and bloat and leaves us looking skinny fat at best. A more appropriate response would be to imagine a life where you never have to crash diet into any event ever again. Where every single day you wake up, and you are confident in your own skin. This may seem like a pipe dream but the reality is with a great coach and lifestyle changes it usually only takes about 6 months to change your life forever. We aim for a solid 2lbs of fat loss per week in most clients. This allows us to mitigate any potential negatives listed above. It also gives a coach enough time to equip you with the knowledge needed to continue your journey or pick back up on it at any point in your life.
