All Academic State Individual selection. Also congratulations to the Wayland Union Varsity Boys Golf Team that participated in the State Regional for being one of 12 teams in Division II
to receive the All Academic State Team Award.

Today we competed at Bedford Valley golf course and the course mastered our Wildcat Golfers. We struggled to get putts to fall on the greens and we failed to consistently put ourselves in good positions to attack the pins. Everybody has days like this from time to time. My post match message to the players was learn from this experience and let go into the trash can because we have a great opportunity to do it all again with a fresh day on the course on Saturday at Cedar Chase at 9:00am. Every day is a chance to get better until we can’t play anymore.

Wayland Union Boy’s Golf team competed at the OK Gold Conference Championships at L.E. Kaufman Golf Course today. The team finished with a score of 331 in 4th place on a cold and windy day. The team was lead by a trio of golfers who shot an 18 hole score of 82. They were Jaden Osterhout, Shane Koon and Carson Sipkema. The scoring was rounded out by Brayden Calkins at 85.
The team will be back in action on Friday 5/15 at Bedford Valley Golf Course.
