Inquiring minds want to know… why horses? What made you want to be around them?

Had a fabulous time with Gerd Heuschmann USA at our clinic. As always lots of knowledge shared we can’t wait till he comes back 💜🐴

Have you ridden with him before? Share your story in the comments ☺️

has done it again! As official sponsors for Dr. Gerd Heuschmann’s clinic series, they have hooked us up with fantastic gear! Love the shirt and saddle pad. 💜 Hopefully the microfiber cloth can help keep me and my horse clean. 🫣😂

Something happened in a lesson today that I'm still thinking about.

She had a moment, one of those real ones where she felt exactly how much her thoughts were landing on her horse.

It wasn’t her hands or her legs. It was her thoughts.

There was frustration when he didn't do what she asked. She was telling herself a story about what it meant about her as a rider and that story tightened something in her body before she even knew it was happening.

The horse felt every bit of it and responded.

So we worked on the reframe of her thoughts. Not on the horse but on her. On what happens in the space between "he didn't do what I asked" and what she does next. In that space is where the ride actually lives.

Our horses already know what to do. They are extraordinary and are capable of things that take our breath away.

Unfortunately though, we are sometimes the ones standing in the way of their greatness.

Not because we're bad riders but because we're human. We bring our thoughts, our reactions, and our unfinished business right through that gate with us. The horse, who is honest in a way most of us are still learning to be, reflects it all back.

The more we work on ourselves, the better they get every single time.

This isn't just about horses. We all have struggles. We all have the moments where things don't go the way we planned and we have to decide how we're going to meet that.

If we show up, look inward and are willing to change what’s needed then the possibilities are endless.

Tell me the one thing you're working on right now with your horse or with yourself. DM me or drop it in the comments. I'd genuinely love to hear it. 🐴

Can I help you?

Did you find it?

💫

Are you listening to your horse’s quiet questions? When they ask you to give a little or when you can ask for more? And when you ask a question of your horse, do you listen for their response?

05/08/2026

Let’s start a conversation! Put your question in the comments or send a DM. I’ll get back to you or maybe Lollipop 🐴 will 😉

This guy has come a looong way. Thank goodness his mom, has patience. I can’t wait to see where life takes them because they will be super stars 🤩

Post a picture of your horse so we can celebrate them too! 💜🐴
