It's been a hot start to the summer for our current and future knights. ⚔️🍊

Hayley Burke had a great spring season capped off with some BIG numbers at the Iowa SCTP State Trap shoot. After being one of 12 shooters in the state to achieve a perfect 300 in singles, she capped off the trap season with podium finishes in all three trap disciplines for the season. At the State Championships, Hayley finished 2nd in Handicaps and 3 in Doubles for Lady, as well as 2nd in the HAA!

Kelly Maier had a great showing at the Leines 200, one of the nation's biggest sporting clays tournaments annually, winning Lady in the main event and taking home a coveted paddle! As she demonstrated at Leines, Kelly has been one of the best Lady shooters in the NSCA, which was recognized through her claiming the Lady spot on the North Central Regional team!

Sophomore Megan Swartzendruber demonstrated her natural ability and love for the spotlight at the IA SCTP State International Trap Championship where she took home honors as the top female shooter in the state!

We are proud of how well our young athletes are performing and know there are some great opportunities to shine in the near future! 💪🏻

Please join us in welcoming our newest Knight, Hayley Burke!

Hayley joins us as a very accomplished student-athlete. She finished her high school career with a 4.0 GPA, class salutatorian, and NHS Vice President.

The dedication she exhibits in the classroom continues on the range and was on full display in 2025. She was on the All-State Trap and Sporting teams and capped the year off with a RU finish in Doubles Trap at SCTP Nationals! She is having a strong 2026 season, and we are excited to see how she finishes her senior season!
