This Yeti pretty much sums up how I feel this time of year. Beat up, dented, few scratches and still working just fine. As everything slows down we will have a chance to do some inventory and some reflection on another successful season.

Patriot Pursuit Inc. would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Fish Family for their continued commitment to our nation’s Heroes. Each year they provide a place for healing, hunting, and camaraderie, and this year was no exception.
We were fortunate to spend the week with four outstanding men—and Mirabella, a remarkable service dog. The stories shared around the table, the conversations during rides to the stands, and the time spent together over meals are moments we look forward to more than anything. Our hunters traveled from Maryland, Indiana, Missouri, and New Jersey to be part of this experience.
Every hunter had the opportunity to harvest a buck and saw plenty of deer.
• Jeremy chose not to take a shot on any deer he wouldn’t harvest at home—true respect for the pursuit.
• James put down a solid 8-point buck, providing a mercy harvest on a deer that had been badly injured.
• Rob harvested his very first buck and added a doe to the cooler.
• Jason rounded out the hunt with a quality buck of his own.
When we say the hunt was successful, we are talking far beyond the harvests. Success is measured in the gathering of good people, the building of lifelong friendships, and the conversations that help veterans navigate the VA system, appointments, ratings, and benefits. We learn more each time—and what we learn helps future veterans. Our hunts never end with a simple “nice meeting you.” We stay connected. We keep helping.
This particular hunt was held in honor of a fallen soldier and beloved brother of our friend and guest, Jared. We proudly remembered and honored First Sergeant Jonathan Compton.
We also extend a big thank-you to Roosters for hosting us for dinner. Their staff, food, and establishment were first-class. Thank you Jess and Deana

No flying squirrels 🐿️ were encountered on this trip, but not due to effort.

These father/son hunts bring back so many great memories and we are grateful to be able to be a part in new memories being created. Some things will stick with you for a lifetime and we hope this is one of those lasting memories for the two of you.

Late night or early morning. Call it what you will but we call it another success for one of our hunters. First deer ever, 6th day ever hunting (4th with us) and success with his compound bow. So many thanks owed to our help on the long track and even longer drag out. A big thank you to our neighbor as he allowed us to track onto his lease to find this animal for our hunter. As for me, I hope to not be hitting the rack at 3am again for a very long time.
