The only way you can actually fail in sales is if you decide to stop trying. We all know there is going to be rejection after rejection in the sales game. Being rejected isn’t failing, adjust your mindset to knowing you’re one step closer to a yes after a no.

Under promising and over delivering sounds like it should be something simple, but the fact is a lot tend to forget this is a huge factor in earning trust from a customer.

Especially when you’re a new rep, you’re going to get your first customer calling you, giving you a chance and you’re going to jump at everything they are requesting. You’ll say yes to all they are asking due to the excitement of starting to see some of your hard-work pay off.

In situations like that keep your emotions in check and be realistic about what customers are asking and what you truly can make happen. If you feel like you’re letting them down know that you aren’t. You’re being honest about situations.

So do yourself a huge favor and under promise what is being requested and be sure to over deliver.

Make sure your plan is going to be effective. Make sure every customer contact you make throughout the day is effective....

Make sure your plan is going to be effective. Make sure every customer contact you make throughout the day is effective.

Nobody wants their time wasted, especially a customer who’s trust you’re trying to gain.

But also, you’re time is just as valuable too! Make the most out of every challenge that comes you’re way. If you’re ever questions if you’re doing the right things, just take a step back and ask yourself is this moving me forward to my goals?

Stamina is a KEY factor to getting to the next level in your sales journey. The more you can own this skill the stronger your sales game will be.

It takes time, effort, and discipline to master this skill.

Throughout your day pay close attention to what hurts your motivation and to what drives your motivation. Be honest with yourself and then be aware of it for the next thing that might demotivate you.

Stamina is what will get you through the highs and the lows of sales. Keep pushing and stay consistent. Don’t let anything get in the way of you sticking to your plan and owning the day 💪🚀

When they come along, change the way you view them. Understand and know that there is no avoiding them. Take them as challenges to make you better yourself. The more negatives you can handle know that you’re leveling up and things are going to change for the better.

READ THIS CAREFULLY - SUCCESS IS FOUND IN THE FOLLOW UP. When doing cold calls people stop after the first or second no. It could take 1 call, 10, or 20. Don’t ever feel “bad” or “annoying” for stopping in or calling to much, it’s your job. If you let the no get to you and stop following up, you just let that potential client stop you from growing, making more money, and most importantly they are missing out on what you can bring to the table to make their life easier.

I had a customer last year tell me they wish they would have given me a shot sooner. I was never over the top on stopping in but I was consistent for over 2 years. When I finally got my shot I made sure that in anything they needed everything went as smooth as it could and that they wish they gave me a shot sooner. They are now one of my best and loyal customers.

Don’t ever forget, the toughest customers to get are typically the most loyal.
