Huge congratulations to JFD No Dekes on the first ever Wausau Adult Hockey League title. With a 6-4 win over Fandrey Construction in the Final. Big thank you to all of the teams, refs and all of the support throughout the season!

Day 2 of the tournament is in the books with two competitive and extremely close games:

JFD No Dekes managed to get the win over Marshfield in a back and forth game that ended 6 to 5 in overtime, with John Lakus scoring the OT winner to advance JFD to the championship.

Fandrey Construction pulled off a 2 to 1 win over WAHL with an outstanding performance in net by Bryce Broeking.

JFD and Fandrey will face off tomorrow at 1PM for the championship and the right to claim the trophy in the inaugural season of the Wausau Adult Hockey League!

Thank you Marshfield and WAHL for a great season!

Marshfield took the first game against Expendables 7 to 4 and will play the number 1 seed, JFD No Dekes, at 4pm tomorrow (Saturday, August 1st).

Tournament rules update:

For the tournament, all rules will stay the same with the following exceptions:

1: The last 10 minutes of the third period will be stop time no matter the score. If a team is losing by 5 or more goals they can choose to have the time switched back to running time.

2: If the game is tied after regulation, then a 10-minute sudden death overtime period will be played (which will be run time).

3: If the game is still tied after the 10-minute overtime period, then a shootout with the same rules as the regular season will take place to determine the winner (first three shooters all have to be different players, and then after the first three shooters a team can send anyone they want).

With the conclusion of the final game of the regular season and a 7 to 3 win by JFD No Dekes over Fandrey Construction, the final standings are as follows:

1: JFD No Dekes
2: Fandrey Construction
3: WAHL
4: Expendables
5: Marshfield

The bracket is now set and will be updated on the website, and game dates and times will be added to team's individual pages, and are as follows:

-Friday, July 31st at 7PM: Expendables vs Marshfield (4v5)
-Saturday, August 1st at 4PM: JFD No Dekes vs Winner of Game One (1 v winner of 4v5)
-Saturday, August 1st at 6PM: Fandrey Construction vs WAHL (2v3)
-Sunday, August 2nd at 1PM: Championship Game

There will be updated tournament rules in regards to time, overtime, stop time etc.. which will be detailed in an upcoming post.

With one weekend of games remaining before the tournament, the current regular season standings are as follows:

-1st Place: JFD No Dekes with a record of 7/1/1 and 15 points.
-2nd Place: Fandrey Construction with a record of 6/2/0 and 12 points.
-3rd Place: WAHL with a record of 5/4/0 and 10 points.
-4th Place: Marshfield with a record of 2/7/0 and 4 points.
-5th Place: Expendables with a record of 2/7/0 and 4 points.

A lot can still happen this weekend to change the official end of season standings which will determine seeding for the tournament, especially with Fandrey still having two games left to play, but what is guaranteed is that Marshfield will face off against Expendables in the opening game of the tournament on Friday, July 31st at 7:00PM!

Hi everyone! Quick update: Marshfield and JFD were supposed to play tomorrow, Friday the 17th, for a makeup game from 7pm to 8:30pm, but unfortunately, Marshfield has to forfeit, and so we are going to host an exhibition game instead. We will still have refs and run it like a normal game, but there will be no season points on the line. JFD is still going to play one side, and the other team is going to consist of 13 skaters and a goalie of anyone who wants to play. If you want to play, please either message this page, message Isaac Schiro, or comment on this post. This will be a first come first serve thing, and once we get 13 skaters and a goalie I will make an edit on the post saying the team is full.

Everyone should have heard by now, but we wanted to make a post as well: all games this weekend have been canceled due to an issue with the zamboni. We are actively working to reschedule the games and will reach out to the captains of each team and also make a Facebook post when we get those rescheduled. Thank you all for your understanding and flexibility!

There has been some movement in the rankings after last weekends matchups. The current standings are:

2. JFD No Dekes (4-1-1) 9 points
3. WAHL (3-3-0) 6 points
4. Marshfield (2-4-0) 4 points
5. Expendables (0-6-0) 0 points

This weekends matchups are Saturday:

WAHL vs. Fandrey @ 7:00
JFD No Dekes vs. Marshfield @ 8:30

Sunday:
WAHL vs. Expendables @ 1:00

Reminder that there are no games 4th of July weekend.
