Finally got out to fish for a few hours today.

Between casting for bass around piers, I would throw a fly in the shaded areas. Ended up catching a nice pile of panfish. Red was the hot color for today.

Amazing how different the colors on each bluegill can be. Had an amazing day catching over 100 bluegill. A chartreuse fatal fly was the hot bait for the day. All fish are back swimming.

Shore fishing has been great lately with the weather slowly warming up. The panfish are moving into the warmer shallow bays. This is when these flys really shine. Our 3.3 mm fatal fly in red has been killer. After the last few trips the fish finally beat the paint off of the head of my jig. You can see the silver in the first picture.
