Over the next week or so all of my cameras will be pulled off mineral sites. All cameras will transition to mock scrapes, food sources, trail intersections, etc. I’ve used a simple vine like this video for over 20 years. I’ve yet to find anything better. The key is placement. It has to be a place they are moving by to begin with and it needs to stick out. It doesn’t hurt to put a little Buck Fever Synthetic Forehead Gland to get it started. Then sit back and watch the show.

I started this scrape a couple weeks ago and this heavy racked 10pt has been a regular. The videos from the Wiseye cameras are spectacular and allow you to learn so much more than a still picture.

It won’t be long now. Good Luck to all the hunters and soak it up. It’s a great time of year…
