Thanks to all the generous donations and the Allamakee County Foundation grant, the Jeff Houg Baseball Tournament returned this year after updating the fields, repairing fences, and putting up new nets.

We hosted two full days of baseball games including ages 11U, 12U, and 13U. We were excited to have Lansing, Cresco, South Winn, North Fayette Valley, New Hampton, Decorah, Caledonia, and Cedar Falls come play!

Thanks Josh, Brian, and David for taking the time to hang the signs this morning - they look awesome! Thanks Brian and Justin Ahlstrom from Kolor Graphics for working with us on the signs - it could not have been better customer service or a better product!

Spring is here and we are ready to move forward with Phase II of our project! Because of all of the generous donations, we were able to apply for a matching funds grant through the Allamakee County Community Foundation and were awarded $10,000 to help fund the new netting at the Waukon City Complex fields!!

There is still time to support Waukon’s Post Prom by purchasing a raffle ticket! Tickets will be sold until December 19 ...

⚾️Phase 1 of the fields is officially complete for the fall plans! This included:
-arification, fertilizing, and overseeding of all 3 outfields
-warning track on the complex fields
-removal of old material at complex and new material at complex and park
-claybricks for home plate at all 3 fields

⚾️THANK YOU to all of the generous donations, hours of volunteer work, and the help of the city to make this happen in such a short amount of time!

⚾️Although we have a good base of monetary funds to match potential grant opportunities for continuous improvements, additional donations will assist in making these happen sooner than later😀
