I've had a lot of requests lately for spinning rods in the 6'6 - 6'10 length so i decided to go ahead and add some shorter models to the carbon series.

Introducing the 6'8" Medium and Medium Light power Fast action rods! These shorter spinning rods use the same rod blank as the 7'1 medium and medium light power - but what i did was trim and tune the rod blank to be set up in this shorter configuration. Because these rods share the same rod blank, you can expect the same high sensitivity, crisp actions, and stout backbone for when you hook into a bigger fish - just in a more compact package.

1/8oz - 1/4oz jig and half crawler paired with the 7'1 medium light fast action Carbon Series rod has been my go-to for getting bigger walleyes in the boat in the dead of summer.

These medium lights have a bit more back bone than your typical medium light, allowing you to fight bigger fish extremely well and still fish lighter tackle effectively.

Had some issues with the live stream tonight and had to cut it short. Connection kind of sucked and I couldn't see messages as they came through so that's lame, but we'll be back tomorrow!

Going to be doing a really cool decorative wrap on a custom rod tomorrow, definitely going to want to tune in for this one. Planning on around 8-8:30 again.
