Dear Watertown Community & Girls Basketball Families,

We are excited to announce our 2026 Watertown Girls Basketball Shoe Drive Fundraiser! We are partnering with GotSneakers to collect used shoes. This fundraiser is a great way to support our program while also helping keep gently used shoes out of landfills and giving them a second life.

Fundraiser Dates
Start: September 1, 2026
End: November 1, 2026

Our Goal
As a program, our goal is to collect 3,000 pairs of shoes!

Each player is encouraged to set a personal goal. Every pair donated helps our team reach our goal and raises money for equipment, team activities, and program needs.

What Shoes Can Be Donated?
•We accept:
•Athletic shoes
•Casual shoes
•Dress shoes
•Boots
•Sandals
•Cleats
•Men’s, women’s, and children’s shoes

Please make sure shoes are:
•Gently used or new
•Clean and dry
•Paired together (tied together or secured with a rubber band)

We cannot accept:
•Shoes with holes
•Wet or moldy shoes
•Single shoes
•Rollerblades, skates, or ski boots

Don’t forget to check closets, garages, and basements—many families have shoes they no longer wear!

Community Drop-Off Locations
Collection boxes will be available throughout the community beginning September 1. Here is the list of drop-off locations

Today is Family Day! We look forward to seeing you at the high school! The formal meeting begins at 5 PM, the gym will be open for the kids to do activities with the high school basketball players beginning at 4:30. See you then!

Great week at the Watertown Girls Basketball Youth Camp!

A huge thank you to all of our campers for bringing great energy, effort, and positive attitudes every day. It was awesome to see so much improvement in their skills throughout the week.

Thank you to our high school players who volunteered their time to teach, encourage, and be great role models for our younger athletes. Your leadership made a big impact.

The future of Watertown Girls Basketball is bright! We can’t wait to see these girls continue to grow and love the game. Go Goslings!

We are officially less than ONE WEEK away from the Watertown Girls Youth Basketball Camp, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Watertown Youth Basketball is a volunteer organization whose mission is to organize, teach, and develop youth basketball players in 3rd through 8th grades, within the Watertown Unified School District and surrounding communities.
