Went to Midstate last night to do some testing on changes on the Camaro. The car is doing great and I think after last night I got my confidence back. Next up for us is Hot Rod Drag Week in a couple weeks then back to Midstate for our favorite race of the year, Fall Nostalgia. The plan is to have 2 cars there for that race, the Camaro and the 41.

Carr Family Racing has no quit. We found some issues with the 68 tonight during testing that aren’t fixable at the track. We didn’t let that stop us. We jumped in the expedition to head for Washington only to pick up the 41 and head right back to the racetrack. I’ve always wanted to race this truck and tomorrow I’ll get to. It won’t be fast but should be fun.

A quick update on the new car. If you’ve ever built a racecar you know its a slow process and we haven’t posted much about it recently. That being said, we have some great people in our corner and it’s getting there. Before this season we took it to Cole’s County Dragway for a chassis certification. It passed for a 7.50 certification, that was great news. Since then the focus has been getting everything welded on the chassis that we need so it can go get powder coated. This car is going to be awesome and I’m excited to get it on the track. You may even see It on the track in 2026.

I created this page to share everything racing related that we are doing. Our schedule hasn’t aligned very well with racing schedules this year, so we’ve only been on the track a handful of times this year and I haven’t found myself going very many rounds this year. However, we are just a couple weeks away from our favorite event of the year, Fall Nostalgia at Midstate Dragway. In the past we’ve had a great group of friends there and have been in the later rounds at some of those events, so come spend Sept. 6th with us and let’s see if we can get another winners circle picture with the green car.
