It's time 🧡🏈🖤📣! WYFCL will be having a football and cheer 2021 season!!! Although, it may look different than previous years, our children deserve nothing but the best so let’s make it happen! Who’s ready to step up and help out for the upcoming season?

Elections will be held on 5/2, 6pm. This year there are multiple positions open on the board including President, Athletic Director, Cheer Director, Secretary, Concessions Director, and a few at large positions. If you can’t commit to the board but still want to contribute, don’t worry! There are plenty of opportunities during the season.

If you are interested, applications are on our website (www.leaguelineup.com/wyfcl1) and can be emailed to [email protected] once completed or brought to elections. If you do not have the ability to print an application, reach out and we will get on to you.

It’s true what they say, “it takes a community to raise a child”. Who’s ready to step up and help out for the upcoming season? There is still a lot of uncertainty due to the pandemic, nonetheless, we are getting ready so we can hit the ground running. Our children deserve nothing but the best so let’s make it happen!

Please read this carefully and share with those who may not be on social media!
The WYFCL board has met and decided the best way for us to issue refunds with the season being cancelled due to COVID-19.

Board members will be calling EVERY paid registrant starting Monday 8/3 to have further discussion on the refund process and the decision that is best for each family. We will be starting calls around 6 pm.
Please do not try to call us first - we will get to everyone!
During this call you will need to let us know if you would like a full refund or if you would be willing to donate some or all of the registration fee to the league.
Unfortunately, even with the season being cancelled we still have overhead costs that need to be paid. We are giving families the option to make a donation this year in hopes that we will not need to increase prices next year. If you choose to receive a refund, you will be assigned a date/time to pick up your refund. If you choose to make a donation, please have an email address ready to provide as we will need to obtain written documentation from you for the donation.

Please be patient with us as we work through this process.

I am very sad to announce that the 2020 Flyfcl season has been cancelled. Our football board will meet this week. Please keep an eye out for updates on how this will move forward. Thank you from the Waterloo football board.

With a strong number of kids registered for our football AND cheer squads, we are still accepting applications for Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Parent positions for the 2020 season.
If you are interested in volunteering we need your application PRIOR to 4/1/2020. The applications can be found on our website and can be returned to our PO Box or a current board member. If you have additional questions please reach out to us.

It was great to see many returning and new faces today at registration!

If you were unable to make today's registration, please go to our website www.leaguelineup.com/WYFCL1 or the rec center, where you will be able to access the registration form and mail it in. Take note if you mail in registration without payment your child will be on a waiting list until payment is received and any paid registrations received after 5/15/20 will be subject to a $15 late fee.

We are also still seeking volunteers to help coach as well as team parents for all football and cheer squads. These applications can be printed and mailed in as well prior to April 1st.

Reminder! Tomorrow 2/1/20 is youth football/cheerleading sign ups. Please remember copies of birth certificates, face photos, physicals and payment. Also excepting volunteer applications for team mom/dad, coaches and assistant coaches. Thank you. see you there!

For those of you trying to reach the Cheer director, her email is [email protected]. And if you cannot make the registration Feb 1st. You can go on our website. It has been updated to be able to print out the forms you need. Please mail proper forms and payment to P.O. Box 136 Waterloo. We are always looking for coaches/team moms. You can also find volunteer forms on the web site or contact a board member.

The football/cheerleading forms should be coming home from school. Please be looking for them. Sign ups are Saturday February 1st 10:00am - 1:00 pm. Don’t forget a copy of birth certificate, face shot picture and physical. We will also be accepting applications for coaches, assistant coaches and team moms. Spread the word.
