Note From Matt Terrio, SCYSF, sent the following message out to everyone after the shoot at Live Oaks this past weekend. "I want to thank each of you for helping to make this event run so well. We had another record day for the SCYSF with 431 shooters registered for the Live Oaks event (our smallest venue on the schedule)! The feedback concerning the event has been great. All three rotations ran smoothly. We had a safe event. We even finished the awards ceremony well before dark! With all that's going on in our nation currently concerning guns, ammo, laws, and etc. it seems all we ever hear is negative press and about bad/tragic stories. I'm proud to say that the South Carolina Youth Shooting Foundation represents every thing that is RIGHT about youth, guns, ammo, safety and responsibility. As coaches, shooters, and an organization we have proven this year after year. I will try to get as much coverage as I can for this foundation, it's coaches, and it's shooters because I believe this is well worth covering and letting the public know what we are about. If any of you coaches have any connections with your local media or the state media please let me know so I can make some contacts."
