This Saturday the Runnin’ Gear Crew split up and conquered! One crew hit the trails at Indian Springs Metropark for our weekly long run, chasing miles and great conversation. The other crew spent the morning with the Clarkston Wolfpack, dealing cards at their poker run, handing out prizes, and helping runners test-drive some awesome demo shoes.

Whether you’re logging serious miles, trying out the latest gear, or just hanging out with fellow runners, this is what it’s all about—building community one run at a time.

We were pumped to have On in the building, and when you pair an awesome brand with an even better community, great things happen. Shoes got tested, miles got logged, and a few opinions definitely changed. It’s amazing what happens when you actually run in something before judging it.

That’s what Thursday nights are all about—trying new gear, meeting great people, and maybe finding your next favorite shoe.

Today the Runnin’ Gear Crew pulled off the classic divide and conquer.

Some showed up for the weekly mileage grind, while others took on the challenge of Summer Trail Fest Ultra. PRs were chased, milestones were crushed, age groups were won, and everyone earned every mile.

No matter the distance, pace, or finish time, we’re grateful for a community that continues to show up, put in the work, and support one another. Watching this crew chase big goals and celebrate each other’s victories is what it’s all about.

Tonight we celebrated the end of another school year for many of our teacher runners. Here’s to trading lesson plans for long runs, alarm clocks for sunshine, and enjoying a well-earned summer break.

Some days the miles aren’t the best part of the run. Sometimes life slows you down just enough to meet a new friend.

Another fantastic Saturday morning at Indian Springs Metropark with the crew. While we were out enjoying a few easy miles, our thoughts were with fellow RRC member Stephen Reffitt as he continues to grind through the miles at the HURON 100.

The heat is relentless, the hours are long, and the challenge is real, but if there’s one thing we know about Stephen, it’s that he never backs down from hard work. Sending all the positive vibes his way as he keeps pushing toward that finish line.
