It's meeting time again! This month's meeting will be on TUESDAY, May 26th., same place...The Center Ministries Building, 960 West Center Rd, Goldsby (about 3/4 mile west of Libby's Cafe). We've moved it to TUESDAY so our members can enjoy their Memorial Day Celebrations. The doors open at 6:30 pm for complimentary refreshments and a social time. The meeting starts at 7pm. Our guest speaker will be KAITY KEITH, candidate for Oklahoma House District 42. We need CONSERVATIVES who will uphold our constitutional rights. There will also be a legislative update (spoiler alert: not good news), and our cash and prize drawings. Bring a friend and be part of keeping Oklahoma free!

Dry Fire! Why is it so important to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE? Because defensive pistol actions are a trained response...no training, no response. Work your dry fire drills in isolation. Here I'm in my shop, very early one morning, working the draw from concealment, par time 1.20 seconds (IIRC). What you don't see is the USPSA target 5 yards away with the tiny black paster I'm using as my focal point. Shooting (good shooting at least) is the result of basic skills, refined and honed over time to eliminate all the unnecessary stuff. Push to failure during your training so you don't fail when it's crunch time.
