The wait is over! We’re excited to get back in the gym and continue building the future of Washington Hatchet Basketball.

🏀 Incoming 3rd Grade: 6:00–7:00 PM

These sessions are focused on teaching the fundamentals, building confidence, and developing a love for the game in a fun, positive environment.

🏀 YOUTH FUNDAMENTALS ARE BACK STARTING WEDNESDAY JULY 8TH AND CONTINUING EVERY WEDNESDAY AND SUNDAY IN JULY! 🪓

Calling all incoming 2nd - 4th Grade Hatchets! Join us this July as we continue building the next generation of Washington Hatchet Basketball. These weekly fundamentals sessions are designed to help young players develop skills, build confidence, and have fun in a positive environment.

Every Sunday in July (Starting July 12)
🏀 2nd Grade: 1:00–2:00 PM
🏀 3rd Grade: 2:00–3:00 PM
🏀 4th Grade: 3:00–4:00 PM

• The address for Wednesday’s Harrison Summer Shootout is The Plaza Park Middle School, 7302 Lincoln Ave, Evansville. Otherwise known as “The Plaza” if your local 🤪

• JV game times have changed for Thursday at the Corydon Summer Shootout. You now play at 12:30 & 4:30pm. CORYDON IS ON EASTERN TIME!

Buckle up Hatchet Basketball fans… there’s A LOT of ballin’ going down this week! 💪🏻🏀🔥

The boys will start the tour at Barr Reeve on Tuesday, June 16th afternoon, followed by a cruise down to Harrison High School for their summer shootout on Wednesday, June 17th. The Hatchets will finish up their summer shootout schedule with a road trip to Corydon Central High School for their games on Thursday, June 18th. Game times/locations on each Shootout flyer below! 👇🏻🤘🏻

‼️A couple things to note:
• Wednesday game times will be CENTRAL time zone - **Tuesday AND Thursday are on Eastern time zone**!
• We are inquiring where the “Plaza” is for the JV on Wednesday at Harrison HS. Will pass that info along as soon as we get it.
• The boys will be home each night to sleep in their own beds - no overnight stays for this back to back play!
• The location for JV’s first game on Thursday at Corydon is the Corydon Intermediate School (CIS) which looks to be across the road from their main High School.

Show up, cheer loud and watch these boys finish out a phenomenal summer schedule in style 🖤🏀💛

After a disappointing varsity loss to South Knox on Tuesday night, the Hatchets redeemed themselves, taking home the win in all three games at the Whiteland Summer Shootout - one even going into OT! It was definitely a team effort to make it a victorious day.

JV outworked South Knox on the court Tuesday night to take home the win from that game, but hit some tough competition at Whiteland and was only able to go 1-2 for the day.

Both teams are back in action on Tuesday, June 16th for the Barr Reeve Summer Shootout, then traveling to Evansville on Wednesday, June 17th and Corydon on Thursday, June 18th to wrap up their summer workouts! Stay tuned for game times/locations - it will be the last time to catch them in action until the Hatchets start the 2026-2027 season with a scrimmage against Castle on November 21st!
