4 days to race day, amazing donors!!!! - I've made $5835!! THANK YOU!!! Got a little "speed" in this AM (well speed for me!) clocking a 5K at a 9:12/mile pace. Really wanting to run my 10 miles at a sub 10 min mile pace, but that is still an ambitious goal!!!!! Hoping all the stars align! Want to help support my run & fight against ocular melanoma? I (Gayla Timm) have always been a slow runner but I am so pleased with my progress this summer and early fall. Last time I ran the I averaged 11:23 a mile. This weekend I ran 8.0 miles at a 10:09 pace and today I ran a 10K (6.2 miles) at a 9:30 pace with my 6th mile at 8:34 pace (possibly my first sub 9:00 since high school? College?) I've got goals to get my ten miles done under a 10:00 pace....laying it all out there!!! Who can help me keep getting faster?? Let's and raise $$ for CURE Ocular Melanoma!
