👑 This is my first post of the new year !!!
🪞 As I reflect on the blessings and lessons of 2022, I'd like to share the spaces I became aware of that need growth and strengthening and the spaces I became aware of that are forces to be reckoned with.
🫣 You may notice alignments with your current self or former self, which is why I'm happy and grateful to share and am aspiring to inspire others to be more transparent and sharing of what they're learning and experiencing. Why? Well, this will propel the evolution of us all if we can connect, communicate and share more and better. (IMO) 🤷🏽♀️💜
💖 A huge awareness surrounding my ability and decision to love WITHOUT conditions. Like to love truly, purely, and REAL-LY (lol) no matter if those that I love see, appreciate or realize it. I noticed myself getting frustrated at times when feeling misunderstood and unappreciated by those that I've been showing agape love to. I noticed I'd change my behavior as a result (sometimes), to protect myself.
🎯 Lesson. Love like Christ loves, WITHOUT conditions regardless of if your neighbor is understanding or aware of your pure heart, nature and intentions. Think of Christ and how mistreated he was regardless of how pure he loved even those who murdered him. This isn't an easy character development but IT IS SIMPLE! So I'm working on this, this year, especially now that I'm more aware of how I've been responding to abandonment, rejection, neglect...etc.
😇 For those of us with big hearts that's how we are made! Embrace it, even when you're not embraced.
🌬 My forces of light most noticed last year? Well, one of them is resilience because as I briefly shared some of my testimony ending the year 2022, I went THRU the MOST!! ...BUT I also was blessed THE MOST and experienced MORE LOVE and SUPPORT than I EVER HAVE!!!....all in the midst of what was supposed to be the worst experience ever. Why? Because I kept going, kept growing, kept glowing ....and pushed harder. YOU CAN TOO!
⭐️ The other force of light I became most aware of about myself is somewhat ironic since I've also classified it as a space for growth....the way and how much I love! It's my superpower and kryptonite. I truly believe love is the most powerful force we all have access to! The love of Christ is the perfect example and the love of God to give us Christ just reminds us of what love can do when given purely and selflessly!!!
👑 Super humbled and grateful to God and my team for supporting me with an appearance at our DC Mayor's, Muriel Bowser, Inaugural Ball!!! Her for our city keeps creating a better today for an amazing tomorrow!!! CONGRATULATIONS MAYOR BOWSER!!!
