The Power of Fasting & Tips on How To Break Your Fast Properly 💯⬇️
FASTING - is NOT considered STARVING - there is a big difference. Starving is the involuntary cessation of food while fasting is the voluntary cessation of food for controlled periods of time! Fasting, for short periods, can be an extremely powerful strategy to increase & better one’s overall health! See the benefits of fasting and how to break a fast effectively below!
You may say “fasting is not for me” but every night, we all fast, when we sleep, you are technically in a fasted state! That’s why breakfast is called breakfast because you Break A Fast! When one pushes their fasted window longer than their sleep cycle they can tap into a host of health benefits including relaxation and repair of the gut, lowering of inflammation, release of BDNF in your brain, triggering of autophagy, or cellular cleansing, lowering of blood pressure, insulin control, increased fat oxidation ie fat loss, and other longevity benefits!
When breaking the fast, you want to eat healthy and not binge on unhealthy foods that can reverse many of the benefits you gained during the process - focus on veggies, proteins, and healthy fats along with water and electrolytes, like sodium, potassium, magnesium, & calcium for hydration!
