Stoked to be working with all of these awesome people this Coastal Recreation Hill Day🌊 Today we advocated for Clean Water, Plastic Pollution Mitigation, and Ocean Based Climate solutions.

This Coastal Recreation Day we are standing up for Clean Water and Ocean Based Climate Change solutions with who is fighting for a reduction in Plastic Pollution.
Join us, alongside Surfrider activists and partners, as we demand action on these issues.

This year marks the 200th anniversary of the discovery of Antarctica. It’s also the year when the highest temperatures ever were recorded on the continent. Right now, world leaders are considering three new marine protected areas (MPAs) to protect critical habitats in the Southern Ocean. Together, these MPAs would represent the largest act of ocean protection in history. I hope you’ll join us in calling for action by adding your name to the petition! Every day, the Surfrider Foundation and our network of volunteer activists work to protect our coasts. This International Surfing Day, as we pause to celebrate the waves and beaches that we all love, we must also acknowledge that just as our beaches face a number of challenges, so does our society. As surfers and beachgoers alike, it is our responsibility to foster a vibrant and inclusive community that comes together to protect and enjoy this extraordinary resource.
