🌱 A New Chapter for GRIP Life 🌱

It’s been a while since I last connected with you all here, and I’ve been quietly evolving behind the scenes. Over the past few months, I’ve immersed myself in new experiences, from stand-up comedy to advanced meditation, all of which have shaped the way I approach health and wellness.
The Naira that’s emerging now feels more aligned than ever with who I am and what I believe about true well-being. 🌟
Because here’s the thing: Health isn’t just about what’s on your plate—it’s about feeling safe in your body, finding balance in your nervous system, and integrating all parts of yourself.
As I’ve grown, so has the work I do. I’m excited to announce that starting June 1st, I’ll be offering something totally new—a 6-month coaching program that combines deep nourishment, sustainable practices, and a holistic approach to health that goes far beyond calories and exercise.

For years, I struggled with food. I saw it as the enemy, something to control and restrict. I jumped from one diet to another, always chasing results but never feeling at peace. My breakthrough came when I decided to stop dieting and start listening to my body. I learned to eat mindfully and respect my body’s needs, finding what truly nourished me. That’s when I discovered food freedom—when food stopped controlling me, and I stopped obsessing over every bite. šŸ
Exercise used to be another box I checked off, driven by the need to look a certain way. Now, it’s my way to connect with myself, release stress, and feel strong from the inside out. Whether it’s lifting weights or a simple walk, I move because it feels good, not because I have to. šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø
But let’s be real—balancing it all isn’t easy. I’m a health coach, a business owner, a friend, a family member—life gets busy. Some days are messy, and that’s okay. What keeps me grounded is knowing what matters:

- Sleep is a priority; without it, nothing else flows.
- Boundaries are key; work stays within its time, and so does rest.
- Progress, not perfection; I’ve learned to give myself grace on the tough days.
Today, I’m in tune with my body. I eat to fuel it, move to energize it, and rest to recharge it. I did not get here overnight. I’ve found peace in not having to do it all perfectly and in creating a balance that works for me.

1. Give yourself permission to eat whatever the hell you want- oftentimes restriction just leads to overconsumption in the long run.

2. Stay hydrated with WATER- limit the consumption of booze to avoid a lot of the empty calories and to avoid looking the fool that your family talks about next Thanksgiving.
