Do you have or know of a student getting ready to enter 8th or 9th grade who is interested in learning to row? If so, please check out the East Arm Beginner Rowing Camp 🚣.

Open to students entering 8th and 9th grade
*No experience needed
*Introduction to crew
*Opportunity to learn rowing technique, boat safety and teamwork
*July 13, 14, 15 & 16th - $100.00 (four sessions) 9:00am to 11:00am.
*Registration closes on July 13, 2026 at 8:30am prior to the first session, make checks payable to East Arm Rowing Club
*Parents/legal guardians must confirm swimming ability and sign waivers

Well, that's a wrap! The team finished out the season on Sunday morning with the Girls Varsity 8 taking 2nd place in the Hudson Valley Rowing League Grand Champion Final. It was great to see our senior girls go out on such a high note. Congratulations team!!

On Tuesday morning we had the honor of seeing members of the Warwick High School Crew Team recognized as New York State Scholar Athletes. We are so incredibly proud of these kids for all of their hard work on the water and in the classroom. Another successful weekend for our team.

Saturday was the first ever Southern NY Sprint Regatta in which the Girls 4 and the Boys 8 won first place.

Sunday was the Hudson Valley Rowing Leagues novice and freshman races. Our Boys Novice 4 took 1st place while our Boys Freshman 4 took 2nd.

Our New York State Scholastic Rowing Championship took place in Saratoga Springs this past weekend. We started out with some chilly and wet weather on Saturday but the girls powered through it with encouragement (and lots of food) from their teammates and families. The boys had better luck with the weather but faced a long an grueling day before learning that our Boys Novice 4 took home the bronze!! Congratulations to all of the rowers on a job well done, thank you to all of our families for their support, and HUGE THANKS to our Coaches and Team Manager for getting these kids to the State Championship Regatta!

An absolutely beautiful afternoon for rowing that led to excellent results for so many of our rowers.

1st place to Girls varsity 4 🥇
2nd place to Boys varsity 8 🥈
1st place to Girls varsity 8 🥇

And, for another year in a row, the girls took the Orange Ulster Cup! 🏆

3AM wake-up call, 4AM bus ride, 5AM boat rigging, and first race at 6:45AM. It was a busy morning but a great first race of the season. Congratulations to both girls 8 boats on taking 2nd place in your races. Thank you to all of the families for feeding and cheering on the rowers and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Team Manager Beth!

Way to go for all of our rowers who participated in the Erg race in Newburgh today. By far the most exciting race of the season because we can actually see them! Congratulations to all who won medals, job well done!!
