Lower Columbia Youth Soccer Association LCYSA provides Recreational and Competitive Youth Soccer for grades (K-8) throughout NW Oregon Tryouts are open to all residents in the Lower Columbia Area.

It’s a wrap on Rec season! And here are some shots from the final week! Unfortunately, the weather stopped us from a full final week, but it was a great season of Rec soccer!

We want to extend a massive thank you to our coaches, referees, players, parents and other adults, and sponsors who supported all of our teams and players throughout the season. So much selfless work went into this season from so many people.

As of 10:30am, all remaining Rec games today are cancelled due to nearby lightning. We played as much soccer as we could before the weather changed that, and we appreciate all the support and the coaches who were ready to go all day!

⚽ Saturday Soccer Update! ☔ (8pm)

As of now, we plan to play games as scheduled — because let’s be honest, soccer is one of the best sports to play in the rain! 🌧️⚽

That said, safety always comes first.
• If winds get too strong, we’ll call games.
• There will be zero play if lightning is in the area. ⚡
• If your family chooses to stay home for safety, no worries — we’ll adjust players across teams as needed. If your whole team is cancelling please email asap so we can make adjustments or let the other team know.

Please keep an eye on your email for any updates and help spread the word to other families.

We’re keeping a close eye on the weather for tomorrow’s games. 🌧️⚡ A final decision will be made by 8:00 PM tonight on whether we’ll play as planned or cancel due to safety concerns.

With families driving in from all around the county, your safety is our top priority. Please keep an eye on your emailand help spread the word to teammates and friends once an update is sent out.

If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re here to help.

Hey Soccer Families & Coaches,

This Saturday marks our last games of the season! We’ve had an amazing run, and we can’t wait to wrap things up with one more day of fun, teamwork, and muddy smiles.

The forecast is calling for a bit of extra rain, but hey — a little water never hurt anyone! We’ll be playing our normal game schedule rain or shine. Just make sure to pack those umbrellas, extra socks, and maybe a towel for the ride home. 😉

Safety first: if any lightning shows up, we’ll cancel or delay games as needed. Please keep an eye on your email and our page for any last-minute updates.

Let’s make our final Saturday one to remember.

What a fantastic season — and it’s all thanks to you! Your time, energy, and dedication made this season amazing for our players and families. We truly appreciate everything you’ve done to make it such a success.

This Saturday marks our final game of the season, which means… it’s time to say goodbye to all that gear rolling around in your car trunks! 😄

📍 Equipment Return:
The South Shed will be open and clearly marked with signs. Please return all balls, pinnies, and cones after your game.
