Thank you to everyone who helped make the 50-year Celebration reception a great success!!

A very special thank you goes out to UCM Elliott Union Director Kim Nicas, Bowling Center Manager Tandi Cox and their staff for providing the facility, food and refreshments for all alumni, friends and students.

Finally, very special individual thank you to Caleb Eubanks (Marketing & Communications Manager of the Union) for his long hours and tireless work on media details and slide presentations for the live-streaming, digital photo books and Facebook Live recordings!!!

As club nationals come to end UCM ended up 3rd. After going undefeated in match play yesterday, today was not as fortunate and we we lost are first match 3-1 to Adrian University putting us in the losers bracket against the #2 ranked team (Winsconsin Whitewater) in the country. We came up short by 10 pins in the third game of the match. All though a lot of us aren’t happy with the result, we gained a ton of confidence heading into Dallas next weekend for ISC/ITC singles. Got to give it a run next weekend. Stay tuned for more.

Mules Men’s bowling bowled our first ever Collegiate Club Championships today. After 16 baker games of qualifying we were seeded 3rd out of the 10 Men’s teams.

We went on to go undefeated in the Saturday portion of the winners’ bracket defeating 6th seed West Texas A&M (3-2) in the first round, and 2nd seed Bowling Green State University (3-2) in the second round. Our next match is against 9th seed Adrian College tomorrow at 9:45 Eastern time with the winner advancing to the Championship!

Mules Men’s Bowling had a very successful weekend at this year’s Hoosier Classic.

The event was broken down into several mini-events and we bowled the Saturday PM Baker squad and the Sunday AM team squad. On Saturday, we placed 18th out of 34 teams and on Sunday, we managed to pull out a 9th place finish out of 33 teams!

In Sunday’s event, Trevor Disberger placed 19th individually and freshman Colby Money put on a phenomenal performance finishing in 6th place!

We look forward to a great finish to the season as we look towards qualifying for ITC Sectionals!
