Launched on April 2, 2025, The Central Stable Collective is a pioneering Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) collective supporting UCM's Mules and Jennies. As one of the first such initiatives at the NCAA Division II level, it offers student-athletes opportunities to monetize their personal brands through endorsements, appearances, and other partnerships. We exist to champion University of Central Mis

souri (UCM) student-athletes by helping them maximize their potential through NIL opportunities. Built by passionate alumni who believe in the power of UCM athletics, The Central Stable is dedicated to creating pathways for student-athletes to succeed not only in competition but also in building their personal brands and securing meaningful partnerships.

It’s been ONE YEAR of The Central Stable Collective.

What started as a vision is now a movement.

In just one year, the Central Stable Collective has:
• Welcomed 22 dedicated donors
• Raised over $50,000 in support of our student-athletes
• Awarded 10+ NIL contracts to Central athletes

And we’re just getting started.

This is about more than dollars - it’s about opportunity. It’s about empowering our athletes to build their brands, tell their stories, and compete at the highest level with the support they deserve.

The University of Central Missouri (UCM) has extended the contract of Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Matt Howdeshell through June 30, 2030, reaffirming the university's confidence in his leadership and the momentum he has generated since arriving in 2023.
