Macomb Kendo Dojo Christmas Party 2025! We're thankful to everyone who joined us for an enjoyable evening of dinner, charades, raffle, movie, and dojo awards. From humble beginnings in a racquetball court, our community has grown, extending beyond the dojo. MKD appreciates its students who've chosen kendo and looks forward to continued growth in 2026!

Where: Madison High School - 915 E 11 Mile Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071

Info: please join us for a year end practice that will be godokeiko format. Arrive between 7-7:30pm to ensure access to the building, warm up/stretch on your own and hit the floor when ready! There is no fee associated with participating.

Thank you Great Lakes Kendo Club • 五大湖剣友会 for organizing another successful junior Gasshuku hosted by Choyokan Kendo Dojo! Our own Kouta Horiguchi participated and also was able to celebrate his birthday over the weekend with kendo friends! Thanks to the parents who prepared all the food and the volunteers who made this event possible. Special thanks to Robin Tanaka Sensei for taking the initiative on this for the last two years.
