Another Friday night of slot car racing is in the books, and this one was ABSOLUTE CHAOS!
With 17 drivers battling it out on the red track, things got wild pretty quickly! There were cars flying off the track, plenty of crashes, and so many track calls that the race started sounding more like an auction than a slot car race! Just when everyone got into a rhythm, someone was yelling "TRACK!" again! At some points, keeping the cars in their slots seemed harder than actually racing them!
But through all the chaos, some drivers managed to put down some seriously impressive numbers!

π₯ 1st β Noah B: 341.29 laps
π₯ 2nd β John T: 326.09 laps
π₯ 3rd β Nick B: 321.13 laps
π 4th β Jason K: 318.30 laps
π 5th β Joe J: 313.30 laps
π₯ RACE HIGHLIGHTS π₯
ποΈ Noah B was absolutely flying! Despite all the interruptions, Noah dominated with 341.29 laps and set the fastest lap of the night at 4.087 seconds!
ποΈ John T kept things moving and secured a strong second-place finish with 326.09 laps.
ποΈ Nick B and Jason K battled their way into third and fourth, separated by just 2.83 laps!
ποΈ Joe J rounded out the top five with 313.30 laps, barely holding off Joe Yates, who finished sixth with 311.28 laps. Not much room for mistakes there!
ποΈ Dan S finished seventh with 309.07 laps, making it seven drivers who broke the 300-lap mark despite all the madness!
And throughout the rest of the field, the competition was just as entertaining. Some drivers were racing for position, others were racing to catch up, and a few were probably just hoping to finish a lap without hearing someone yell "TRACK!"
It definitely wasn't the cleanest night of racing, but it sure was entertaining! Between the crashes, constant track calls, close battles, and friendly trash talking, there was never a dull moment. That's what makes Friday nights at Modelville Hobby in Ashland, MA so much fun!
Same time next Friday! Hopefully with fewer track callsβ¦ but we're not making any promises! π€£π
