Another great team camp is in the books! Nineteen Pirates traveled to NEO College last week, home of one of the state’s top JUCO wrestling programs, for three days of tough competition and hard work.

Our wrestlers battled, improved, and took their skills to the next level. Congratulations to Aiden Scoggins and Rashad Urbin for finishing as mini-tournament champions in their brackets! 🏴‍☠️👊🏻

Another great team camp in the books as 19 Pirates traveled up to the best JUCO wrestling program in the state, NEO College! We battled it out for 3 days and jumped levels, proud of our guys! Aiden Scoggins and Rashad Urbin finished the camp as mini tournament champions of their brackets! 🏴‍☠️👊🏻

Congratulations to former Pirate Wrestling Coach Larry Winnard on being inducted into the Putnam City Hall of Fame! Larry led the Pirates to a state title in wrestling in 1978 as his teams were consistently contending. He built the athletic training program at Putnam City and is a pioneer in that space at the high school level.
