The Southern Fulton Track & Field family is proud to announce that Teagan Ritz has committed to continue his academic and athletic career with the Point Park University Distance Team!

Teagan’s hard work, dedication, and leadership have made a lasting impact on our program, and we couldn’t be more excited to see him compete at the next level. Point Park is gaining an outstanding athlete and an even better young man.

Today marks the end of an incredible career for Teagan Ritz.

Teagan finished 24th in the Boys AA 800m at the PIAA Track & Field Championships with a time of 2:00.64, competing against the best runners in the state one final time in an SF uniform.

While the accomplishments and times speak for themselves, what we’ll miss most about Teagan is the person and teammate he was every single day. He was a great captain, a leader who helped hold this team together, and someone who always knew how to keep practice light and fun, even during the toughest parts of the season.

He brought energy, consistency, leadership, and personality to this program for years, and Southern Fulton Track & Field is better because of it.

Thank you for everything, Teagan. We’re proud of you, and you will absolutely be missed in this program.

PIAA STATE MEDALIST. 🥉

Sophomore Julia Madison brought home a 3rd place finish in the Girls AA 800m at the PIAA Track & Field Championships with an incredible time of 2:15.43!

To stand on the podium at the state level is a remarkable accomplishment, and we could not be more proud of the hard work, toughness, and dedication Julia has shown all season long. From offseason miles to the biggest stage in Pennsylvania track & field, she continues to prove she belongs among the best.

A huge congratulations to Julia, her family, teammates, and everyone who has supported her journey along the way. She becomes the first female medalist in school history with today’s result.

The future continues to appear incredibly bright for SF Track & Field!

Our boys 3200m relay represented SF today in cold, rainy conditions and finished with a time of 8:38.96, 24th best in the boys AA division!!!

So proud of this YOUNG group of Teagan Ritz, Parker Oakman, George Hardy, and Viliamu Ah Loe.

We expect more big things coming from them!!!

• The boys 3200m relay is scheduled for approximately 11:00 AM in Section 1 of the Boys AA Finals.

• Julia Madison is scheduled to compete at approximately 2:25 PM in Section 3 of the Girls AA Finals. She enters the meet with the 4th-fastest seed time from districts.

• Teagan Ritz will run shortly after Julia at approximately 2:30 PM in Section 1 of the Boys AA Finals.
