The girls had an incredible day, finishing 4-0 on the weekend! They went 2-0 in pool play to earn the #3 seed heading into bracket play, battled through the semifinals, and capped it off with a 7-4 Championship Game victory! 💙🥎

What a day yesterday for United Elite! Full of big swings, strong moments in the circle and plenty of learning opportunities as we continue to grow as a team 💪

Big shoutout to two players who stepped up in pool play and set the tone for the day:

🥎 #5 Harper Bynum – Pool Play MVP
Absolute workhorse in the circle and a steady presence all day. Delivered big innings, competed through pressure, and kept us in every game with 27 strikeouts on the day 💪🔥

🥎 #99 Kamryn Richardson – Pool Play MVP
Spark plug performance at the plate and on the field. Consistent contact, key contributions offensively and steady play that helped drive momentum 🚀

🔥 PITCHING 🔥
Our pitchers battled all day and gave us a chance to compete in every game. The pitchers showed toughness, competed through pressure and kept hitters off balance with key strikeouts and smart pitch sequencing!

⭐ Circle Impact Performances:

🥎 Harper Bynum – Took on a heavy load and kept us steady in the circle all day, giving the team a chance to compete deep into games (13 IP | 27 K)

🥎 Taylor Fossey – Brought swing-and-miss stuff and delivered key punch-outs in high-pressure moments (5 IP | 8 K)

🥎 Ariella Ott – Gave us valuable early innings and helped establish rhythm while competing in tough spots (3 IP | 2 K)

The offense came ready to compete, finishing with a .281 team average & 25 hits. Lots of quality at-bats and clutch contact throughout the lineup!

This was a tough area as the team finished with 14 errors. We had moments of good defense, hustle plays and effort but consistency will be our focus moving forward!

What a weekend at the Heartland Friendly NIT for United Elite Softball! 🥎🔥

The girls battled all tournament long and finished with a strong 3rd place finish and a 4-2 record.

💥 Team Highlights:
• 37 runs scored in 6 games
• 22 hits and 35 stolen bases
• Team batting average: .229
• Pitchers held opponents to a .137 batting average

🔥 Offensive Leaders:
• Kara Paul hit .500 with 4 hits and 3 stolen bases
• Owyn Bucknell batted .400, scored 6 runs, and was perfect defensively
• Ariella Ott added 4 hits, 6 runs scored, and struck out 8 in the circle
• Taylor Fossey drove in 3 runs and scored a team-high 9 runs
• Kylah Rohr collected 4 RBIs and contributed strong innings pitching

💪 In the Circle:
• Harper Bynum dominated with 15 strikeouts in 7 innings and allowed ZERO runs
• Ariella Ott earned a win with a 0.00 ERA across 6 innings pitched
• The pitchers totaled 29 strikeouts over 24 innings

The team competed hard and will be back at it this Saturday in Iowa City!

What a run at the CR Reds Tournament yesterday! 💪🥎 United Elite battled all day and punched their ticket to the semifinals, finishing strong against tough competition.

⚾️ At the Plate:
The bats were alive with a .308 team average and 16 hits!
🔥 Taylor Fossey led the way going .600 with 3 RBIs and 6 runs scored
🔥 Harper Bynum added a huge .714 OBP and 2 RBIs
🔥 Ariella Ott came through clutch with 3 hits and 3 RBIs
🔥 Kylah Rohr was a spark plug all day with a .667 OBP, scoring 5 runs and consistently getting on base to create opportunities

🏃‍♀️ On the Bases:
Speed was a weapon all day — 14 stolen bases and constant pressure on defenses!

🔥 In the Circle:
Harper, Ariella & Taylor was dominant:
💥 21 total strikeouts
💥 2.50 ERA
💥 Opponents held to a .191 average

🧤 Defensively:
Strong effort with big plays across the field, highlighted by key stops in pressure moments.

⚔️ Semifinal Battle:
Fought hard but came up short against the Expos in the semifinals. A tough loss, but a performance to be proud of.
