In case you aren't getting enough baseball, we just learned about the Martinez Sturgeons - a pro baseball team playing right here at the Martinez waterfront. It's a great family atmosphere. For $10 admission, you get to see a team of friendly players who obviously love the game and put their hearts and souls into it. Here's pitcher Manny Corpas sliding home in last night's game. ---BAGELFEST IS NEXT SUNDAY---
Bring the family to Heather Farm on Father's Day for our annual Bagel(andfritter)fest. For those who are not vaccinated we will serve some individually packaged bagels and we encourage you to wear a mask. There won't be any platters of tomatoes and onion as we don't want to be sharing forks or serving utensils. We'll start serving at 10am and will stay till the last game is finished (around noonish).

Come join the open-air fun and find out what eveyone's been doing during the league's one year hiatus.

Two sets of parent/child combinations in this photo today: Jason and Ethan Klein plus Hugo Wildmann and his daughter (AAck - don't have her name!). JBL had Sandy playing along side our grandson Ryan Zimmerman, Rod and Kellen Bassler, plus Jeremy and Corey Goldman playing with their father Joel. WHO ELSE was out there today??
