It’s Not Always About Eating Less.
One of my clients recently lost weight after we increased her calorie intake.
How is that possible?
Because lasting results aren’t just about eating fewer calories. They’re about giving your body what it needs while building habits that support a healthy metabolism.
Instead of simply cutting food, we focused on eating better and building consistent habits that support long term health.
Over the past few months, she lost 7 pounds, reduced 1.5 inches from her waist, became noticeably stronger, improved her balance and movement quality, and even eliminated the abdominal cramping she used to experience during everyday activities.
Many people assume weight loss means eating as little as possible. In reality, eating too little can make it harder to maintain muscle, recover from exercise, and build habits you can sustain.
When you consistently fuel your body well and stay active, your body often becomes more efficient at using that fuel.
The goal isn’t to eat less forever. The goal is to build a body that is stronger, healthier, and more resilient.
If you’re over 50 and tired of feeling like you need to starve yourself to see progress, there may be a better approach.
