Without broodmares there is no breeding program. Today I had to make a heartbreaking decision for one of our precious mares, Nobleza de Mali.

Nobleza wore the brand well, and left behind two beautiful colts to carry on. Tonight, her 2wo baby Xalte de Mali is without his mama, but is surrounded by his Yeguada de Mali family.

Xalte is well-named because we will continue to give praise to the Father for all our blessings, even those we didn’t get to keep as long as we would have liked. And I suppose that is the point of it all.

When one chapter ends, another begins. Do what is next. - Malinda
