For Coach Andie, coaching starts with love for the game.

After playing lacrosse through high school and college, she knew she wanted to give back to the sport that had already given her so much.

That passion now shows up in the way she leads, teaches, and helps her players grow together.

One of her favorite memories as a coach was watching her team’s chemistry and hard work come together in back-to-back league championships.

Moments like that are a reminder that success is about more than wins.

It is about trust, commitment, and what can happen when a team truly believes in each other.

🦷 Fun fact: Coach Andie still has two baby teeth.

For Coach Lenny, it all comes back to growing the game.

With 12 years of coaching experience, his goal has been simple: to help players learn, improve, and pass along what he once learned from a former teammate.

That kind of impact has a way of carrying forward.

One of his favorite memories as a coach was watching a player who had only been playing lacrosse for three weeks score his first high school goal.

Moments like that are what make coaching special.

Seeing the growth, the confidence, and the excitement come together all at once, that is what it is all about.

The final Walled Lake Gladiators 7/8 team practice of the season is in the books.

For our 8th graders, this isn’t goodbye, it’s the next step. Walled Lake United is waiting, and for some, the high school journey starts this summer.

Thank you to every player, coach, and family who made this season special.

Not every coaching story starts with a long playing career.

Coach Auge only played lacrosse for two years, but found his path when his sister needed a goalie coach.

That moment turned into something bigger.

Seeing the lack of goalie-specific training in Michigan, he made it his mission to help develop goalies across the state.

One of his proudest moments?
Watching a goalie he trained in high school go on to play at the college level.

That’s when the impact really hit.
