Idaho Athlete Project and USA Explosion Softball are incredibly proud to announce that the head of our program, Billy Butler, is joining the Idaho State University Softball staff as its new hitting coach!

Billy’s knowledge, experience, and passion for developing athletes have made an incredible impact on our players and our program. We are so excited to watch him bring that same energy and expertise to the Bengals!

Congratulations, Coach Billy! We couldn’t be prouder of you and can’t wait to see what’s ahead!

As we have been going through tryouts as well as trying to take a softball break🙄
We forgot a birthday announcement to an athlete that gives this team 💯. Yes , she can grind for her teammates in the circle as well as hit a bomb 💣 at the right moment! And will also be the first one to congratulate the athlete for their achievements!
Her demeanor and positive attitude is contagious … Happy 17th to Abigail Helmholz.

what a day today …. Great turnout at our North Idaho tryouts today in Rathdrum, ID. at Lakeland high school.
Something that needs to be realized…. These kids that showed can ball as well as western / central Montana players that want to be apart of the X family 😳
Great job to everyone that was on the field doing your thing and to all behind the scenes…. One more tryout to go in Eastern Washington in Walla Walla on Tuesday 8/11 @ Murr field 5:30-7:30
