And just like that, another Wrestling season is in the books. The Wildcats had multiple wrestlers with 2+ wins at the state tournament making some deep runs and even brought home some hardware. This season the Wildcats brought home 4 team trophies, Numerous individual tournament championships, and improvements across the board! Proud of all of our Wrestlers!

The Wildcats had a heck of a day 1 of the LHSAA State Championships! 12 of our 17 Wildcats picked up multiple wins today! Tomorrow the Wildcats have 3 STATE SEMI-FINALIST. All vying for a chance at the state finals. Willow Dixon, MacKenzie Thomas, and Chris Godso III! Also still in the hunt for a place on the podium is Colton Lanier! We currently sit just outside the top 10 in team points. Stand up Walker Wrestling! Tomorrow the Wildcats look to make history! Go Cats!

Great cap to the season for our JV squad at Baton Rouge JV City! Our kids wrestled their hearts out today and brought home some hardware in the process! Special congrats to Hunter Townsend placing 2nd, Zander Kimbel placing 3rd, Frankie Gonzales placing 4th, Christian Weems picking up a win and Julian Molavi and Hayden Lea picking up some hard fought matches! Great job today Wildcats! Up next is our final tournament of the season for the Varsity squad, the LHSAA State Championships, stay tuned!
