Our programs serve youth from ages 2-19. We work closely with the Charles County Department of Parks, Recreational and Tourism and the Charles County Board of Education as we utilize their facilities for our training and game sites. Our activities are based at Bryantown Sports Complex in Waldorf, MD. We also utilize Charles County School fields in the immediate area. Our organization is a voluntee
r-based organization, except for skilled coaches working with our very youngest age groups. All other board members and coaches are strictly volunteers. We rely heavily on parent volunteers to serve has head and assistant coaches, team moms, concession stand staffers and executive board members. Our primary programs run 2 seasons per year – Spring which runs late March to early-June and Fall which runs late August through early November. There is separate on-line registration for each. We also participate in TRAVEL soccer through an independently run travel club, FC Charles 1658. FC Charles is a travel-only club jointly founded and overseen by Waldorf Soccer Club and the LaPlata Youth Soccer Association (LPYSA). We encourage highly skilled players that have the desire and family support to tryout for travel soccer with FC Charles. Waldorf Soccer Club is affiliated with the Maryland Youth Soccer Associate (MSYSA) and US Youth Soccer (USYS). We are also long-standing supporters and partners with men’s professional soccer club DC United.
