Jordan Toney Drives In 4 To Lead Outlaws Past Copperheads 20-4

Outlaws got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Logan Runyon singled, scoring one run, Allen tripled, scoring three runs, and Jacobey Dolesh singled, scoring one run.
Three more Outlaws runs crossed the plate in the second inning to extend the lead to 8-1. Toney homered to right field, scoring two runs, and Webster singled, scoring one run.
Outlaws added one run in the third. Jim Falcone grounded out, making the score 9-3.
Outlaws scored 11 runs in the fourth inning on the way to victory. Andrew Webster singled, scoring one run, Kenneth Boykins singled, scoring one run, JoJo Allen drew a walk, scoring one run, Joey Batkoski singled, scoring three runs, Jordan Helfen drew a walk, scoring one run, Toney doubled, scoring two runs, and Akeem Hood singled, scoring two runs.
Jordan Toney drove in four runs on three hits to lead Outlaws past Copperheads 20-4 on Sunday at Heritage High School. Toney hit a home run to right field in the second inning, scoring two runs, and doubled in the fourth inning, scoring two.
Dolesh earned the win for Outlaws. The right-handed pitcher gave up six hits and three runs over four innings, striking out four and walking two. John Pierce took the loss for Copperheads. The starter went four innings, giving up 20 runs on 18 hits, striking out three and walking six. Matt Dausch appeared in relief for Outlaws.
Outlaws tallied 18 hits in the game. Toney, Webster, and Hood each collected three hits for Outlaws. Batkoski and Boykins each collected multiple hits for Outlaws. Helfen paced Outlaws with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying six walks for the game. Outlaws turned one double play in the game. Outlaws were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Dolesh had the most chances in the field with three.
