Join us as we honor Juneteenth the day, June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in Texas learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

We’re also celebrating the legacy of Opal Lee, known as the “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” whose decades of advocacy helped make Juneteenth a federal holiday in 2021.
