Chase connects with Kingston for the first touchdown of the season for our 5/6 Tackle team! 🔥

So proud of these boys tonight. Scrimmaging against a much more experienced squad, they battled, competed, learned a ton, and never backed down.

This is just the beginning. We’ll keep working, keep developing, and keep getting better as we get ready for Week 1!

Voorheesville Youth Football & Blackbirds Cheer Picture Day is coming up!

📅 Thursday, October 15th
📍 Swift Road Pavilion
⏰ Photos begin at 5:30 PM

Please check the schedule for your team's assigned photo time and plan to arrive 10 minutes early so we can keep everything running on schedule.

📝 Picture Orders
Hard-copy order forms will be handed out in the next couple of weeks, but you do not need an order form to purchase photos.

With registration officially closed, we are incredibly proud to announce that Voorheesville Youth Football will take the field this fall with 93 players across 6 youth teams! 🏈

93 Blackbirds. 6 teams. One community.

This is more than just a number — this is the largest youth football program our community has ever seen.

What started as an idea 3 years ago has grown into something truly special, and we couldn’t be more excited about the future of Blackbirds Football.

A huge THANK YOU to every parent and family who continues to support this program, trusting us with your kids, and helping us build something our entire community can be proud of.

The countdown is on. Next month, the Blackbirds take the field.

A quick reminder that all interested players are welcome to attend our Tackle Football Mini Camp!

This is a great opportunity for players to:
🏈 Experience football in a fun, supportive environment
❓ Ask our coaches questions
💬 Learn more about the program and address any concerns

The mini camp is open to all current 4th, 5th, and 6th grade players who are interested in playing tackle football this fall. Please reach out with any questions.

💪 The future of Blackbird Football is looking BRIGHT! 🏈

Over 40 young athletes showed up today for our 2026 Voorheesville Youth Football Combine, ready to compete, learn, and put in the work for the season ahead.

From Pre-K through 6th grade, these kids brought incredible energy, effort, and enthusiasm.

Watching them develop their skills and support one another is exactly what this program is all about.

A huge thank you to all of our players, families, coaches, and volunteers who made today such a success. This is just the beginning—we can't wait to kick off the 2026 season!
