It’s Wednesday!

As promised, our first upgrade is ready to be announced AND ready to be used by every player in the organization!

The Cobra organization has purchased a Hit Trax! It was installed yesterday by some of our dedicated volunteers!

What is a Hit Trax?

HitTrax is an advanced data capture and simulation system for baseball and softball that tracks batted balls in real time and projects live results onto a virtual Major League Baseball stadium.

How It Works?

Optical Sensors: A unit placed behind the batter uses computer vision to track the ball immediately upon contact.

Real-Time Metrics: It measures key statistics like exit velocity (speed off the bat), launch angle, distance, and point of impact.

Visual Simulation: The software instantly shows where the hit would land inside any of the 30 virtual MLB ballparks, scaled to the player's age or skill level.

Local friends! If you’re looking to add some beautiful mums to your home this fall, we’d love for you to support our Lorenz 12U baseball team by purchasing them from one of our players!

Mums will be delivered right to you the weekend of September 18th!

Noah Johnson from our 17u Riley team has committed to play at Judson College!

Noah was a big part of the team and is one of the most genuine and hard working players. He was an outstanding teammate and always seeking out ways to help the team or improve.

Fall/Winter may bring less games but there is still a lot going on behind the scenes.

Let’s talk fundraising:

Supporting fundraising for a local nonprofit, like the Cobra organization helps give young athletes opportunities they may not otherwise have.

Fundraising helps cover the costs of equipment, uniforms, field rentals, tournaments, travel, training, and other expenses while keeping participation affordable for families.

More importantly, it allows the community to invest directly in local kids—helping them build teamwork, confidence, discipline, friendships, and lifelong memories.

Every donation, sponsorship, or purchase makes a difference and helps keep youth baseball strong in our community.

Each team within the organization has fundraising options specific to their team, and we appreciate and the continued support!

It really means a lot!
