📸 WHOOPSIE! Apparently the second half of our 5K photos decided to take their own sweet time getting to the finish line. 😂

A whole week after we shared Part One, we realized these speedy runners, happy walkers, finish-line smiles, and all-around Iron Range awesomeness were still patiently waiting for their moment in the spotlight.

🏁💙 Iron Range Half Marathon Photos: Part 3! 💙🏁

The FINISH LINE! 🎉🏅

After 13.1 miles through some of the most beautiful and unique parts of Virginia, our runners made their final push to the finish at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center!

And a little rain certainly wasn’t going to stop the Iron Range from showing up. ☔️💙 Family, friends, volunteers, and supporters stood outside in the rain, cheering our runners through those final steps and across the finish line.

Once inside, the celebration continued! Awards, music, post-race snacks, and plenty of well-earned smiles filled the Event Center as runners celebrated an incredible accomplishment.

To every runner who took on 13.1 miles, every volunteer who helped along the course, every sponsor who supported the event, and every person who stood in the rain to cheer...

📸 Iron Range Half Marathon Photos: Part 2! 📸

The journey continues!

After making their way along the beautiful Mesabi Trail, our half marathon runners headed into historic downtown Virginia, bringing race-day energy right through the heart of the city.

From there, the course took runners across the new floating bridge connecting Bailey Lake and Silver Lake, adding another uniquely Virginia experience to their 13.1-mile journey.

Then it was time for that final push toward the Iron Trail Motors Event Center, where the finish line, cheers, and the feeling of completing 13.1 miles were waiting!

These photos capture even more of the determination, smiles, scenery, and community that made this year’s Iron Range Half Marathon so special.

13.1 miles of Iron Range beauty, and we have LOTS of photos to share! 📸

Here’s Part 1 of our photos from the Iron Range Half Marathon!

Runners started their 13.1-mile journey at the Mesabi Trail Headquarters before making their way down the beautiful Mesabi Trail, surrounded by some of the best scenery the Iron Range has to offer. 🌲👟

Along the way, runners crossed one of the most incredible parts of the course, Minnesota’s highest bridge, the Thomas Rukavina Memorial Bridge!

Congratulations to every runner who took on 13.1 miles and to all of the volunteers, spectators, sponsors, and supporters who helped make the day possible!
