It was the National Governing Body for the sport of surfing for about 40 years and during that time it was responsivle for running the US Surfing Championships in various locations including Hawa

ii, California, Texas and the East Coast. We invite anyone to participate in this group and share experiences, news, photos, event updates and other material to promote the sport of surfing - not just here in the USA but in the world."
