Congratulations to our Virginia Beach Kendo Club warriors! On October 11–12, from all ages you came together as one, stepping boldly into your very first SEUSKF challenge. It’s been nearly four years since I started volunteering as an instructor at the club. Our members are my inspiration and energy in kendo, and because of them my own kendo continues to grow little by little each day—I am always indebted to them. This coming October 11, we will be sending both our youth and adult teams to the Richmond Tournament for the very first time, and on October 12, five members will be testing for their 1-kyū rank. A special thanks to Sensei Sun for his constant support and dedication to our club every week. Please cheer for us and wish everyone continued health and strength in their training!
