Yesterday was a wonderful day as we celebrated the end of the summer season with some of our kiddos with a great get together with food and a final game. Everyone just had a blast and the smiles on the kiddos faces who showed up. Shoutout to Julie Tesch for coming out and helping quarterback against me with your group and mine. It was a hard fought game. But fun for sure. The kids greatly appreciated you and so did we. Thank you so much for being a great sport and stepping up!!! Thank you to all the parents who brought stuff to make hotdogs and the cookies and cupcakes.

And sure enough got a cupcake to the face from the kids and just ice cold waters poured all over me but it’s ok. It was hot outside 😂 love all of yall and we will see everyone here in a couple months!!! God bless!!!

What a ride!!! A month of preparation starting back on May 1st with a small idea that lead to a big dream. sign ups and just everything coming together so fast on a day to day basis, we look back at our first inaugural season, and it was a success. It had its highs and lows but like anything new you start in life that’s beauty of it all. In the end we achieved and kept our word with the vision we set out with our youth.

We wanna thank all of our parents who stuck through with us every week, every practice, and every game. Thanks to our coaches and staff for the hard work and dedication they showed all summer long in this Texas heat. And especially a huge thank you to our kids! Everyone of you who will be moving on in the fall and won’t be with us, we were honored to have worked with yall and coach yall. Some of yall came in not knowing how to catch or throw a football and you learned.

Your hard work, dedication, determination, resilience, respect, team work and work ethic showed all summer long. We will miss all of you and remember you will always have a home with our league. Whether you ever wanna come back to play or coach, or just volunteer, remember there is a flag belt waiting, and a football ready to be thrown or a route ready to be run! we are the crossroads youth flag football league family
